Most term time Tuesdays 18:30 to 19:45
Our Cub Pack is a friendly and active pack with boys and girls ranging from 8 to 10½. During their time with us at Cubs they will learn new skills many of which will result in earning either an activity or challenge badge.
A lot of new friendships will be made and above all, they will have fun.
Most of our meetings take place inside our Scout Hut, but during the summer months, we try to do activities and badge work outside when possible. We visit places when working on particular badges e.g. a fire station, a Church or Temple, a Park and the Mayors Parlour at the Civic Centre in Uxbridge.
We have our annual week long summer camp as well as one or two night camps and sleepovers in our Scout Hut.
The main camps will include lots of adventure and activities with some challenges along the way. Cooking on open fires amongst other methods, hikes, putting up tents, bushcraft as well as organised activities at the campsites are just some of the skills the Cubs will learn.
Cubs is a stepping stone for them to make the move into Scouts, getting them ready to move up to more skilled activities and harder challenges.
